Matt Dillon Works Both Sides of Law By Leslie Simmons Wed Oct 31, 4:25 AM ET Matt Dillon will defend the law and break the law in two upcoming heist thrillers. The actor is in final negotiations to appear in "Armored" and "Bone Deep," both set up at Sony's mid-budget Screen Gems studio. "Bone Deep" revolves around a group of bank robbers who team to pull off a $20 million heist, but their plans are intercepted by Dillon's character, LAPD Detective Jack Welles. "Armored" is about two armored car guards, played by Dillon and Columbus Short ("Stomp the Yard"), who plan to empty their truck of $10 million. Dillon's upcoming projects include "Nothing but the Truth," with Kate Beckinsale, Vera Farmiga and Angela Bassett, and "Old Dogs," co-starring Robin Williams and John Travolta.
