Finally, some Paris Hilton footage the heiress actually wants the public to see.

Hilton's new romantic comedy, The Hottie and the Nottie, has snagged a distributor and a release date, making its way to theaters in time for Valentine's Day, on Feb. 8.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Regent Releasing picked up the rights and will distribute the flick in limited release—10 markets around the country.

Hilton filmed the project last January and February.

In the flick, directed by Tony Putnam, she stars as Cristabel Abbott, a girl who finally acquiesces to date a longtime pursuer (Joel David Moore), but only after he plays matchmaker for her less genetically blessed friend (Christine Lakin).

The Hottie and the Nottie news comes as wraps work on Repo! The Genetic Opera.

The horror rock musical, Hilton's first postjail acting gig, centers on a biotech company that, in the face of a worldwide epidemic, launches an organ-financing program. Paul Sorvino stars as Hilton's father in the film, which has been shooting in Toronto.

Hilton, whose goodwill mission to Rwanda was scrapped earlier this month, is also planning work on a new album.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old socialite was back in the headlines over the weekend for some car trouble.

While being chauffeured on a shopping spree along Robertson Boulevard, the heiress' black Cadillac Escalade was sideswiped by a paparazzo apparently a little too eager to secure a money shot.

Hilton was getting out of the back seat of the car, which was parked at the time of the incident. The shutterbug, who had pulled in front of the idling vehicle, got out to snap the heiress; unfortunately, he left his car in reverse and it backed into Hilton's vehicle.

Hilton was unscathed, but engaged in some postaccident retail therapy. The parties exchanged information, though no cops were called to man the fender bender.
