Beginning, April 17 and continuing through May 22 (Saturdays) , Nonalee Davis is hosting her third set of Adult Theatre Workshops at the Titusville Playhouse, Inc. (TPI). Workshop information is as follows:

Basic Acting, 10 a.m.

Students will learn stage directions, blocking, voice and articulation, improvisation, body awareness, and auditioning. Students will learn stage directions, blocking, voice and articulation, improvisation, body awareness, and auditioning.

Advanced acting, 11 a.m.

Auditioning, character make-up, script breakdown, memorization, perform monologues and scenes, difference between method and technique.

Directing, 12 noon

How to audition your actors, what to look for, types of actors not to cast, directing types of actors to cast, script analyses, triangle formations, blocking for purpose and how to get the writer's message across.

Acting for the camera, 1 p.m.

Working in front of a camera, body awareness, acting with real emotion, placement, about the business, how to audition for the camera.

Stage combat, 2 p.m.

Body movement, cue-reaction-action, punches, head butts, choke holds, sword work-rapier and broad sword.

*High School students must have been enrolled in TPI's Fall or Winter sessions of the Rising Stars Theatre Program to enroll in this class.
