A New York City-based TV Production company is looking for LGBT couples for an upcoming documentary about relationships and coming out. We are searching for members of the LGBT community who are involved in serious relationships, and are about take a huge step – they’re planning to introduce their significant other/girlfriend/boyfriend/partner to their parents • Please be over 18 and a resident of the U.S. • Are you someone who has never introduced their significant others to their parents – let alone even discussed your dating life as a gay/les/bi/trans person with them? • Is being gay/les/bi/trans a taboo topic of discussion with your parents? Do they treat the topic with a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Policy” and you’re tired of it? • Do you want your parents to meet the person you’re in love with despite them disapproving of your sexuality? • Or do your parents simply not know that you’re gay and happily in love with someone of the same sex? • If your parents are cool with you being gay, will they disapprove of something else about your significant other – race/religion/class/occupation? • Either way – does the thought of your b/f or g/f meeting mom & dad scare you – although you know it has to happen?
