Gala Auditions for Collective Company DESCRIPTION Collective Company, a non-profit multicultural dinner theatre company, is holding auditions for its 2007 Season Gala. Our 2007 season will explore four cultures version of Romeo and Juliet. A sample of our season will be shown at this event and we are looking for the following: BREAKDOWNS Heer Ranhja (Punjabi version) Women and Men: Prepare a 2 min. monologue that shows your range as an actor. You may be asked to read sides at the audition. Hummingbird (Puerto Rican version) Women and Men Dancers: This is a call for a modern dance piece. Be prepared to learn a dance. Once on this Island (Haitian version) Women and Men: Prepare a 2 min selection in the style of the show and be able to move well. Romeo and Juliet Women and Men: Prepare a 2 min classical monologue that shows your range as an actor and your understanding of classical text. Fight Choreographer: Prepare to show a sample of your work. The performance will take place on January 30, 2007. Rehearsals will begin in December.
